It is said that the concept of the safari holiday experience, it all started life in Kenya. The word ‘safari’ itself even stems from local Swahili dialect for ‘journey’. However Kenya safari holidays are no ordinary journey, here wildlife roams the grassy open plains in front of majestic snow-capped mountains, savage nature contrasts with absolute luxury and adventure combines all too well with a relaxing stay at the beach.

It’s the combination of wildlife, natural beauty and value that has seen Kenya flourish spectacularly to justify its position as one of the best-known safari holiday destinations in the world.

Beautiful Beaches: the Kenyan coastline sits right on the Indian Ocean and has beautiful turquoise waters and white sandy beaches.

Conservation:

Kenya is leading the way in terms of private concessions which focus on the needs of the communities and the wildlife.

Conservation Based Safaris!

“Conservation” is a very important aspect in our Safaris in General ! We strive to offer Journeys that support Wildlife Conservation, Protect our Biodiversity and involve or support the Local Community in one or another way.

In our view, there can be “no viable conservation” without the support and involvement of the local community without a direct benefit to them.

If we put “value” to wildlife & conservation, a good co-existence can happen. A perfect example are the various Conservancies in Kenya such as the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, where a rescue project gives a home to a large number of chimpanzee. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, Borana, Laikipia, Lake Magadi, Lumo Community wildlife sanctuary, Solio Ranch, a home of a big population of both black and white rhinos. All the revenue collection in terms of park entrance fees goes straight to conservation activities towards a smooth coexistence of wildlife and the community around such conservancies.
